Lead software developer (C# .Net)

Job Profile:

As a Lead Developer at Experian, you’ll work in one of our business areas, gain exposure to our exciting work and help to develop products for the future. Purpose You will be responsible for leading the design and development of one of our platforms, using the full Microsoft stack, specializing in C# .NET web applications and AWS technologies. We use a wide variety of testing and quality techniques, and our services are pushed through our environments using a combination of Bitbucket for source control and Jenkins (DevOps) for build, test and release. You will be using the latest cloud technologies to maintain and develop multi-tenant cloud services in an agile DevOps team and will play a key role in all stages of the software development lifecycle from architecture and requirement gathering to ensuring testing and deployment is done to the highest quality. You will ensure the development team is compliant with our policies and high standards that puts security and data protection at the heart of everything we do, achieving this by following best practice approaches to analysis, design, coding, testing, configuration management, change management and environment management.

Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, combining good communication skills with strong analytical problem-solving skills, to support clients in achieving their goals with existing and new applications. Additionally, the candidate will

• Support existing applications through communication with service managers, solving production issues across a broad range of technologies and servers. 
• Be responsible for implementing and maintaining the required security policies for the applications managed by the database applications team. 
• Actively participate in team problem solving discussions, to assist the team with any current technical problems. 
• Document and deploy changes to applications on production servers, ensuring all required authorizations and documentation have been completed prior to change. 
• Strong Experience delivering cloud-native Services and Applications
• Strong experience working in a Continuous Delivery cycle.
• Working in microservice architecture
• Implemented and used a variety of automated testing approaches and techniques

Qualifications: You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience

Technical Skills:

• We expect you to have strong experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building mission-critical, high-volume transaction microservices / web-based software systems, preferably in regulated environments (finance and insurance industries). 
• Strong C# and Experience delivering cloud-native Services and Applications
• .NET Framework experience, ideally with .NET 8 or higher exposure.
• You will have extensive knowledge of the following technologies and software engineering best practices:

• Architecture Design
• Microservice Architecture
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• SOLID Principles
• Software Design Patterns like Adapter, Decorator, Facade and Factory patterns.
• Test-Driven Development (xUnit.Net)
• Open API / Swagger
• Source Code Management tools (Git, Bitbucket)
• RESTful APIs
• .Net Core containerization.
• Knowledge in AWS implementation.
• Exposure to AWS.

Experience:

• Comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies, project management principles, and team dynamics.
• Extensive understanding of .NET ecosystem and C# advanced features.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS). 
• Extensive understanding of Vue.js and Node.js ecosystems.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Extensive understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Extensive understanding of application security and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management best practices and tools.
• Extensive understanding of SQL and NoSQL database ecosystems.
• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design.
• Extensive understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS ecosystems.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Extensive understanding of Apigee Edge and API management ecosystems.
• Knowledge of API design and best practices.
• Familiarity with advanced Apigee policies (e.g., traffic management, mediation, caching).
• Experience with OAuth and other API security mechanisms.
• Extensive understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT ecosystems.
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) best practices.
• Extensive understanding of network architecture and security.
• Knowledge of firewall and load balancing ecosystems and best practices.
• Extensive understanding of REST and GraphQL ecosystems.
• Extensive understanding of observability ecosystems and tools.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Extensive understanding of application security and code quality.
• Knowledge of Veracode and SonarQube ecosystems and best practices.
• Extensive understanding of application security and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of Wiz.io and Rapid7 ecosystems and best practices.

This position is for Hyderabad locations, members need to be in Hydera
