As a UX Researcher, you'll help shape user-centered products by uncovering insights that inspire design and strategy. You'll collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow researchers to ensure that user needs and behaviors are understood and thoughtfully integrated into every stage of product development. You will report to the UX Research Manager. You will work remote from in the US.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • Partner with fellow researchers and teams to understand research needs and design appropriate study plans.
  • Advocate for research best practices and educates us on methodologies and user-centered thinking.
  • Help manage the participant panel, ensuring the selection of relevant users for targeted studies.
  • Design and conduct qualitative research studies, including planning, facilitation, and synthesis of insights.
  • Complete usability testing methods such as 1-click tests, preference tests, 5-second tests, card sorts, and tree tests, with support and mentorship from senior researchers.
  • Analyze research findings to uncover relevant insights and crafts compelling research narratives.
  • Share findings with designers, product managers, and other partners to inform and influence product decisions.
  • Participate in workshops to address user pain points and improve the user experience.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in UX Research, human factors, cognitive psychology, or similar
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in UX Research, Design Research, Product Research or UX design
  • Experience with the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during product development
  • Experience assisting with research for products throughout the product lifecycle including designs, prototypes and production experiences
  • Experience with tools such as UserTesting, Lyssna, Optimal Workshop, Great Question, Condens or other UX research testing platforms, panel management and repository tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
