Summary

As a Senior System Security Administrator within Experian's Global Security Office and Identity & Access Management (IAM) function, you will help ensure secure and compliant IAM operations. You will support operational oversight, assist your manager in driving execution of IAM activities, and manage governance projects to maintain agreement on security policies and standards. You will provide visibility into our security posture and use your hands-on experience with scripting and automation platforms to improve IAM processes and governance. You will report to the Systems Security Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist management in monitoring work volume to ensure resolution and compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Support advanced governance projects by establishing detective and preventive controls that enforce adherence to internal policies and standards.
  • Enhance visibility into compliance for executive-level reporting and strategic decision-making.
  • Identify, evaluate, and lead process improvements by analyzing workflows, pinpointing inefficiencies, and introducing best practices or standardization opportunities.
  • Take full responsibility for end-to-end management of IAM projects or workstreams, including planning, resource coordination, risk and issue management, partner communication, and delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Use scripting languages and automation platforms to lead medium-scale automation efforts that improve IAM operations and governance processes.

Experience and Skills

 

  • Experience leading IAM project workstreams, including planning, partner coordination, and risk management.
  • Experienced identifying and implementing process improvements, applying knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800.53, and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Experienced in developing compliance metrics and dashboards that provide executive-level insights for strategic planning.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages and automation tools, driving process optimization and governance.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA management, ensuring resolution and service quality.
  • Break down complex issues, develop remediation strategies, and collaborately across teams.

Ideal Qualifications (Preferred but not mandatory)

  • Experience implementing medium-scale automation solutions using AI workflows (such as AURA), Automation Anywhere, and Power Automate.
  • 5+ years in IT access security administration, with a focus on operational execution and governance.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation solutions, including design and maintenance.
