Senior Ecommerce Performance Manager

We're looking for a Senior Performance Manager to join the eCommerce team. You will optimise and personalise the commercial performance and customer experience of all pages that sit across Experian's consumer site.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

Trading meetings: you will contribute performance updates and analysis on key metrics and journeys for weekly trading meetings with senior stakeholders. Lead weekly trading calls with the eCommerce team to stay close to our performance against sales and revenue targets.

Performance analysis: rigorously monitor conversion rate performance across all commercial journeys on our app and web platforms. Provide detailed insights into customer behaviour, engagement and funnel analysis to help the business understand the effectiveness of our customer experience and product.

Forecasting: collaborate with teams across the consumer business to develop and produce accurate monthly and daily forecasts for our core KPIs. Track performance against these forecasts and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

Optimisation test analysis: support Optimisation Managers to analyse the longer-term performance and revenue trajectory of A/B tests. Review roadmap and set up of tests, applying advanced analytics and statistical methodologies to improve the robustness of our optimisation testing.

Personalisation performance: you will support Optimisation Managers to monitor and report on the overall revenue performance of our personalisation models. Identify areas of opportunity and potential metric cannibalisation. Support the team in setting up model tests and reviewing the outputs.

Identifying opportunities: inform our long-term strategy and short-term commercial opportunities through analysing our customers and how they interact with us, across all demographics and segments. Champion a data-driven approach to all eCommerce activity.

Automate reporting: work with the Analytics team to QA the accuracy of our reporting.

Experience and Skills

We're looking for someone to be the heartbeat of our trading rhythm, have a passion to drive commercial performance and help us identify areas of opportunity.

  • Strong understanding of commercial trading and insights
  • Comfortable writing and executing SQL queries
  • Proficient in GA4 (experience in Mixpanel is desirable)
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing and test statistics
  • Highly numerate and data-driven
  • Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Experience analysing customer trends and behaviours
  • Good understanding of frequentist and/or Bayesian analysis methodologies
