We are seeking a (Senior) Consultant (m/f/d) to join our Customer Analytics team, specializing in advanced data-driven solutions for our clients. This role is pivotal in delivering impactful analytics, supporting pre-sales activities, and driving innovation in areas like credit risk, fraud detection, and customer intelligence. The (Senior) Consultant (m/f/d) will bridge technical expertise with business acumen, ensuring our clients gain measurable value from Experian’s local and regional data products and analytical services. This role offers the flexibility to work from either our Düsseldorf or Frankfurt office within a hybrid working model.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning solutions for complex client challenges.
  • Analyze large, diverse datasets to extract actionable insights, supporting business decisions in credit risk, fraud analytics, and customer behavior.
  • Work with large-scale credit data, ensuring data integrity, cleaning, and transformation for analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – including sales, product, and marketing – to ensure seamless integration of analytics into client solutions.
  • Drive pre-sales activities: assess client needs, develop tailored solution concepts, and support proof-of-concept projects.
  • Manage and deliver analytical projects from scoping through execution, ensuring high quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and deepen client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and supporting business development initiatives.

Experience and Skills

  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or a related field.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or consulting, ideally with a focus on credit risk, fraud analytics, or marketing analytics.
  • Proven expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining; proficiency with Python, Pyspark or equivalent.
  • Profound knowledge of requirements and analytical use cases in one of the industries telecommunications, mobility/automotive or utilities is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms and data visualization tools is an advantage.
