Sales Operations Specialist - New Business

We are looking for a New Business Sales Operations Specialist, to join our UK Operations Team within Experian UK&I GTM to report into one of the senior leaders.

You will drive continual operational execution improvement in partnership with the Specialists Sales Director and Sales Managers. You will achieve this through a strong management system and operational rigour, partnering across the organisation to positively impacts the vertical, and enablement activity to ensure that all salespeople have the knowledge and skills to excel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Management and Cadence: Ensure that the sales pipeline is accurate and all new business sales teams follow our standards. Lead the pipeline management rhythm. Identify opportunities for sales coaching. Ensure the optimal deployment of sales resource.
  • Sales Campaigns: Standardise all new business sales campaigns across the region. Ensure consistent measurement, management, governance and reporting. Lead regular campaign reviews.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Support the annual sales planning process across the area and ensure alignment to regional and global goals and ensure credible plans exist to deliver current and future revenue targets.
  • Sales Operations: Identify areas for potential improvement in the sales process. Work with stakeholders within and outside of GTM to eliminate redundant/low value activities and drive automation.
  • Seller Engagement: Create and execute a strategy to create a strong network of salespeople to ensure rapid prototyping of change (test and learn), capture improvement suggestions from sellers and promote fast adoption of change. Help to shape communications to ensure the right information reaches the right people, fast..
  • Single Point of Contact: Act as the single contact into the vertical for operational teams outside of GTM. Share best practices with/from other teams and co-lead UK GTM Ops community of practice to accelerate innovation and transformation.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in sales/revenue operations/strategy role.
  • Experience using data-driven insights and metrics to improve sales performance with experience evaluating sales opportunities, territories, markets
  • Knowledge of sales tech stack, including CRM, CX, BI, Planning, Q2C, or E-signature elements.
  • Balance strategic approach with hands-on execution.
  • Familiar with market best practices around performance management, process enhancement, pipeline management, and sales metrics.
  • Break down complex problems in a simplified way and identify opportunities to innovate.
  • Program Management experience is desired, professional PM qualifications a bonus.
