Assistant Machine Learning Engineer

What you will do:

• Deliver toolbox development aligned with the defined roadmap, ensuring release of new features.
• Provide bug fixing and ongoing support to maintain reliability and user satisfaction.
• Improve toolbox functionality to meet evolving business and client needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement ML pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and model training.
• Help automate ML workflows and documenting processes for reproducibility and compliance.
• Follow internal security, governance, and operational standards.
• Maintain documentation for all processes and deployments.

You will report into the Product Manager.

What you will bring:

• 2+ years of technical experience into the software development field.
• Advanced Degree or equivalent in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or other quantitative fields
• Fluent English – written and spoken
• Ability to write production-level code in Python
• Knowledge of OOP principles, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Back-end development skills, including work with REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD process development
• Comfortable with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and virtual environment technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Flexible and adaptable to learn and understand new technologies
• Good at spotting problems and quickly proposing solutions

Any of the following skills will be considered an advantage:

• Knowledge and appreciation of Agile development methodologies and techniques
• Basic knowledge of statistics and of measures used for evaluating performance of Machine Learning models, such as precision, recall, etc.
• Comfortable with front-end-focused frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
