Job Description:

We are looking for senior Database engineer. In this this role you will develop our database systems within an agreed timescale and quality.

You will collaborate with other engineers and partners to provide technical support and identify new requirements.

 

What you'll do?:

Participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Responsible for everything related to database development.

Create complex packages, functions, scripts, stored procedures, triggers and data flows to support application development.

Troubleshoot database related issues and perform bug fixes in compliance with the Service level agreement.

Improve complex code areas and ensure that all the modules perform at their best.

Responsible for code quality through review processes and facilitate code review sessions.

Perform database performance tuning and optimization to ensure high availability.

Provide the necessary support within the team to ensure constant knowledge growth in both technical and product domains. Mentor more junior team members.

You will report to Engineering Manager.

 

Qualifications:

What you'll bring:

Around 5+ years of professional experience with Oracle 12c or higher version and PL/SQL.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related information technology field.

Practical experience of the development lifecycle and methodologies.

Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.

Experience with data and schema standards and concepts.

Good understand of database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Experience communicating updates and resolutions to team members and other partners.

Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners.

Experience in cloud services, Python is needed.

You will solve the problems being keen on details.

Qualifications

  • Around 5+ years of professional experience with Oracle 12c or higher version and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with version control systems like GitHub / GitLab and developing Git branching approaches
