Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Scientist to support the maintenance, monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement of production analytics models and data processes. In this role, you will ensure analytical solutions remain accurate, stable, compliant, and aligned with business and client requirements.

You will work with large-scale datasets, monitor model performance, investigate data and model anomalies, implement model enhancements, and support data-driven decision-making across multiple client environments. You combine strong statistical and machine learning expertise with practical experience in model governance, data quality management, and production analytics.

This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, product stakeholders, and clients to maintain high-performing analytical solutions, improve operational efficiency, and support ongoing innovation within the analytics organization. You will also mentor team members, contributing to best practices, and sharing technical expertise across the broader analytics community.

You will report to Director of Data Science and GenAI.

What you'll do:

  • Monitor and optimize production model performance, stability, and drift.
  • Conduct model validation, back-testing, and performance reporting.
  • Investigate data and model issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain data pipelines, documentation, version control, and audit trails.
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams and clients to improve analytical solutions and data quality.
  • Contribute to innovation, best practices, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

 


Experience and Skills

What you'll bring:

  • Experience working in data science, machine learning, analytics, or related technical roles.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, probability, linear algebra, optimization, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience developing, validating, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning and analytical models in production environments.
  • Knowledge of machine learning, AI, deep learning, regression techniques, and model evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience with model validation, cross-validation, regularization techniques, statistical testing, and performance monitoring.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages used for analytics and data science.
  • Experience working with large-scale data processing technologies and modern data platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, distributed data environments).
  • Familiarity with structured and unstructured data processing, including NLP techniques.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, model governance, compliance, and documentation best practices.
