At Experian, UX design is a group of experienced versatile experts that create pleasing user-centered design. As a UX/UI Designer II, you will be an important contributor to the Ecommerce UX team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional customer experiences across Experian's consumer-facing websites, including educational content, email communications, and marketing landing pages. You'll collaborate with team members, including SEO and content experts, Ecommerce strategists, CRM program managers, UX researchers, and developers. This is a fully remote position. You will report to the Product Design Manager.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • You will design within a complex application ecosystem to deliver a consistent, compelling and engaging customer experience.
  • Support improvements to organization, structure and readability, while creating clear visualizations and user interaction elements for educational content.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather UX requirements and translate them into design solutions.
  • Follow requirements defined by the Ecommerce strategists, Product, SEO and content, and CRM teams to understand audience, segmentation and campaign goals.
  • Apply and maintain design systems, reusing existing components while contributing new assets such as graphics, illustrations and icons.
  • Deliver high-quality design work for projects of varying scope and complexity, incorporating feedback from designers and partners to refine and enhance outcomes.
  • Contribute to customer nurturing communications for segmented Ecommerce campaigns across multiple channels, with exposure to A/B and multivariate testing and optimization.
  • Help QA to review web pages, educational content, emails and push notifications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in usability testing through prototyping to help validate designs and ensure solutions meet both user needs and our goals.
  • Stay current with content trends, UX design best practices and industry standards to continuously improve content quality and user experience.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual/Digital Design, UX/Interactive Design, or a related field from an accredited four-year university.
  • 2–4 years of UX and related digital design experience (e.g., digital marketing, visual design, direct-to-consumer campaigns).
  • Portfolio of demonstrated UX and visual design work required.
  • Follow direction from design leadership and implement solutions based on business and UX requirements.
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and JIRA, applying these tools.
  • General knowledge of HTML/CSS and best practices.
