You will define high-value client software solutions that use Experian products, data, and services and encouraging long-term relationships with clients. They gather client requirements, explain the solution concept, estimate the level of effort to deliver, present the high-level design and estimates to clients, work with the project team to document low-level design, and provide the solution.

You will frequently present at client meetings and occasionally at conferences. The Technical Solution Advisor will be measured with a set of Goals, which encompass but are not limited to, actual versus estimated effort to deliver, customer satisfaction, revenue and revenue growth, new sales accomplishment, and cost control.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a technical lead and industry expert for solutions that involve integrating products and services across multiple Experian departments.
  • Work with clients to define and document the business problem and solution requirements in the area of specialization. Facilitate client requirements gathering/design meetings and present to your team at all levels, including executives.
  • Collaborate with SMEs from other specializations to author solution design documents tailored to individual client requirements.
  • Translate our requirements into technical requirements.
  • Develop database queries, analytical tools, and metrics.
  • Direct the activities of departments during the planning, testing, and implementation of custom software solutions.
  • Be a liaison for sales, delivery, and IT to ensure scope definition, accurate effort estimate generation, and develop externally facing artifacts.
  • Contribute to the project planning phase by identifying required resource skills, task dependencies, and risks. Help with ongoing scope management.
  • Responsibilities show substantial variety and complexity but could include the development of both business and technical assessment, risk assessment, project meetings, our requirements, and detailed effort estimates.
  • Up to 30% travel required and occasional after-hours support/ work

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical degrees
  • 7 years in the financial industry or software delivery experience
  • 5 years in a technical environment, including application development and testing
  • Development skills with databases (SQL, ORACLE, DB2) Knowledge of application development services using the following technologies (Java, SQL, Oracle, XML, Web Services)
