Technical Senior Product Manager, Developer Portal – Ascend

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for the Ascend Developer Portal.

The successful candidate will report into our Programme Director and play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the Developer Portal's design, integration, functionality, security and managing future demand and enhancements.

This role is critical to expanding our ecosystem by empowering external professionals to integrate and build innovative solutions on the Ascend platform effectively.

You will sit within an overarching Integration programme and require collaboration with our engineering teams and matrixed line management of 15 – 20 developers. Who will build key components to enable the Developer Portals success including API's SDK's, Code Samples and Debugging Tools.

This role underpins our "open-developer" strategy, which is a high-impact role at the heart of our platform growth unlocking additional revenue forecasted at $20-50m.

Experience and Skills

  • Significant experience of product management centred around software development, integrating SaaS solutions, API & SDK design, and functionality.
  • Experience collaborating with external partners, ISVs, or developer communities.
  • Experience in technical change management, transformation initiatives, and delivery in the context of large scale, mission critical platform.
  • Knowledge of standard product management methodologies, tools, practices, and change management techniques.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Strong ability to think with scalability in mind.
