Team Lead: Data Administration – Amendments & Deletes

  • This role directly supports the operational stability and compliance posture of the organisation. As outlined in the job profile, the Team Lead:
  • Manages, coordinates, and monitors all incoming data amendments and delete requests, ensuring accuracy and timeous processing across multiple data pipelines.
  • Ensures compliance with strict SLA requirements including 18-day dispute resolution, validated data corrections, and judgement updates.
  • Oversees legally sensitive processes such as judgement rescissions, paid up judgments, Identity/Passport Number merges, Name changes, CIPC updates, debt counselling case management, and credit provider disputes.
  • Maintains crucial internal controls, reporting, audit ready documentation, and quality standards.
  • Leads and develops the Data Amendments and Deletes team, providing direction, resource planning, coaching, and performance management.

Experience and Skills

 

  • 3+ years data processing experience in financial services.
  • 3+ years customer service experience and 1 year people management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data amendments, dispute resolution, judgement management, and bureau related processes.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office.
  • Basic SQL capability is desirable but not essential. 
  • A leader capable of providing direction, stability, planning, coaching, and performance oversight.
