Experian Data Quality are looking for a new Software Engineering Support Assistant. You will focus on supporting our Aperture Data Studio product.

You will have two main responsibilities; help with the build/release process and assisting with technical support.

This is an ideal role for software engineering graduates or more junior people coming from a technical or product support background. We're looking for a passionate technologist who is interested in starting their career in Software, we will train the hires in the technologies needed.

Within this role, you will be in a pathway ideal for people trying to get into a software engineering or related career. You will learn and develop many technical core skills including: Devops experience, being able to understand code, working to a schedule, databases, internet communications, eventually leading up to the development of minor product components or utilities.

Experience and Skills

  • Interested or experienced in software development, customer support or product build/test process, someone with core technical skills who is looking for a route into software development.
  • Keen to learn and develop whilst providing a great technical service
  • Technical background. Familiarity with Java or another language would help
  • Experience using an integrated development environment (IDE).
