We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to take on a lead role within development teams and complex assignments. You will provide substantial technical expertise in the end-to-end development cycle, and provide coaching to junior team members. You will report to the Software Engineering Manager and will work remote, or hybrid based on proximity to an Experian office location.

You will:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring support to junior and mid-level technical team members, helping them grow their technical expertise.
  • Implement the technical vision for the Software Engineering domain, defining long-term technical strategies and roadmaps that align with our goals.
  • Lead complex software development projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage multiple concurrent software engineering assignments from creation to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Represent us in technical conferences, webinars, and industry events, showcasing technical expertise.

You will have advanced experience in:

  • Cloud Platforms: Leads the development of cloud solutions based on our requirements analysis and troubleshoots complex issues.
  • Customer Focus: Facilitates creation of the 'right' products and services to resolve customer business issues.
  • Innovation: Finds new or non-traditional ideas to improve the effectiveness in the team's responsibilities and guides team members in the development and fulfillment of proposed innovations.
  • Productivity: Develops strategies for resolving issues related to competing priorities and programs and optimizes the use of time and resources.
  • Collaborating Globally: Evaluates different viewpoints and reconciles conflicting interests to achieve a collective understanding and a group mission and provides optimum solutions for complex problems.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
