Senior Scoring Analyst

The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the Modelling team, responsible for developing and maintaining models across the credit lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Build and maintain models used throughout the credit lifecycle.
  • Apply advanced statistical and mathematical techniques to solve business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model relevance and accuracy.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and impact.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and credit environments.
  • Building Custom and Bureau scorecards (Credit Granting models)
  • Book Evaluation and Pricing exercises
  • Scorecard Monitoring
  • Building new Credit Products
  • Building alternative data scores (non-credit data)
  • Ability to interpret data and extract valuable customer insights
  • Get involved in regulatory analytics exercises, such as FLI, LGD and other auditing queries

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Engineering (with high mathematical content). 
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in analytics or mathematical environments. 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Credit, Bureau, or Auditing teams. 
  • Strong coding skills, preferably in Python. Other relevant languages: SAS, R, SQL. 
  • Familiarity with Databricks. 
  • In-depth knowledge of the credit industry.
