Senior Network Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Operations Engineer to join our team. You will be a part of a wider edge security operations group responsible for protecting our edge global network.

Reporting to the Global Manager of Network Edge Security.

• Design, implement, and manage Cloud Web Application Firewalls to protect web applications from security threats.
• You will provide SME expertise on security incidents, audits, and high priority escalations
• Configure and maintain Intrusion Prevention Systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Manage and improve Checkpoint or Fortinet firewalls to ensure network security.
• Collaborate with the security team to promote security policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze security logs to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
• Conduct regular security assessments and review vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain documentation for security configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on security-related issues.

• 5+ years of experience in security, with a focus on WAF, IPS, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of HTTP/S, TLS/SSL/ and TCP protocols is required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python programming is required.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
• Troubleshooting experience with Wireshark.
• Experience working within the Agile framework is beneficial.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or AWS Certified Security is beneficial.
• Proficiency in managing Checkpoint/Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls.
