Role Overview

The Sales Team Lead (Northern) drives sales growth, manages client relationships, and leads a team of account managers within the Northern Region. We are looking for strong leadership, business development, and customer management skills to expand Experian's footprint among SMEs, corporates, and channel partners.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Growth

  • Increase sales performance for the Northern region to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop regional sales strategies aligned with Experian Malaysia's goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships within the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) and corporate sectors.

 

Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of account managers to achieve personal and team KPIs.
  • Monitor and review sales activities, providing guidance, training, and support for skill development.
  • Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and customer-centric culture.

 

Client & Partner Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with main clients, prospects, and channel partners in the region.
  • Represent Experian at business networking sessions, industry events, and client meetings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly to enhance client retention.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sales/business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in financial services, credit bureau, fintech OR equivalent
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Good knowledge of SME and corporate business landscape in the Northern region.
  • Ability to travel across Northern states when required.
