Role Summary

The Senior Business Analyst – Revenue partners with Revenue Accounting, Billing, Commercial, and Finance Technology teams to translate revenue accounting requirements into scalable ICFR-aligned processes, controls, analytics, and automation. You will combine exposure to IFRS 15 / ASC 606 with transformation delivery (process redesign, automation, and reporting) to improve accuracy, efficiency, and audit readiness across the revenue lifecycle. You will report to the Revenue Recognition Supervisor/Manager. This is an individual contributor role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis: understand, document, and manage our requirements and delivery for revenue accounting process and system enhancements (process maps, BRDs/user stories, prioritization, acceptance criteria, control requirements).
  • Revenue accounting enablement (IFRS 15 / ASC 606): Support operationalization of revenue rules (performance obligations, allocation, modifications, timing) into standardized procedures and decision logic.
  • ICFR controls integration: Design and embed ICFR control points into revenue processes (control narratives, evidence requirements, control testing support, remediation tracking) to strengthen audit readiness.
  • Transformation: Lead revenue process improvement projects (current/future state, gap analysis, control impact assessment, implementation plans, benefits realization).
  • Automation and reporting: Build and maintain automation and reporting solutions—Excel/VBA for reconciliations, close trackers, and exception logs; Power BI dashboards for Indicator monitoring, flux analysis, deferred revenue visibility, and exception trending.
  • Testing, deployment & sustainment: Coordinate UAT, validate data integrity and control outcomes, support cutover/go-live, and maintain process/control documentation post-implementation.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (mandatory).
  • Advanced English (professional fluency in written and spoken business English).
  • 8+ years of experience in revenue accounting with demonstrated exposure to IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606 (revenue recognition, deferrals, reconciliations, month-end close support).
  • Minimum 1 year of project management and/or transformation experience delivering process improvement or automation projects in Finance/Accounting.
  • ICFR/SOX environment experience: hands-on involvement supporting ICFR-aligned processes (control documentation, evidence collection, control testing support, issue remediation) within Revenue and/or Order-to-Cash.
  • Advanced Excel (including VBA macros) and Power BI proficiency: experience building automated trackers/reconciliations and developing Power BI dashboards for finance Indicators, variance/flux analysis, and exception reporting.
