We are looking for a Sales Director within GTM to develop and execute the New Business Sales strategy across one of our largest and most critical Vertical markets, Strategic Financial Services. You will coach and lead a team of sales professionals, developing high-impact sales strategies, and building relationships with C-level stakeholders.

You will be responsible for delivery of new business revenue targets, working across Strategic Financial Services.

Key deliverables will include:

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive new business sales strategy aligned with our goals.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value target Cross-sell accounts within the Strategic Financial services portfolio.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align go-to-market strategies.

Sales Execution

  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs and industry trends.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with senior executives (CIOs, CFOs, COOs) in target organisations.
  • Understand client business models, challenges, and regulatory environments to position solutions effectively.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Mentor and support team members and contribute to a high-performance culture.
  • Provide regular forecasting, reporting, and insights to senior leadership.
  • Represent Experian at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Experience and Skills

  • Extensive experience in enterprise sales, with experience selling data products into financial services.
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience of developing, engaging and retaining sales professionals.
  • Ability to influence a senior audience across a complex matrix.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Deep understanding of financial services industry trends, challenges, and regulatory landscape.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
