Product Manager - 12 month Secondment

We are recruiting for a Product Manager to work in Experian's Eligibility team on a 12 month secondment.

Experian Marketplace develop data and technology products for the financial services market specialising in credit pre-qualification services. Our tools allow price comparison sites and brokers to match consumers with lenders credit products improving market efficiency. We work with many names you will know including MoneySuperMarket, ClearScore, HSBC, Virgin Money & Lloyds Banking Group.

Responsibilities:

• You will Identify new product development opportunities by using frameworks such as jobs to be done and forging relationships with key clients to translate customer and stakeholder needs into visionary products
• Design concepts and prototypes to test with consumers and clients to validate assumptions
• Manage product roadmaps, prioritisation of product backlog within Agile teams and accountability for products commercial performance.
• Optimise existing products in market, articulating clear product value statements and working with GTM teams to achieve revenue and EBIT goals.

Internal Grade: EB8

• Previous product management/new product development experience ideally in financial services or related industries
• Experience creating and managing b2b SaaS products
• Experience of jobs to be done, design thinking, hypothesis testing and Agile development methodologies
• Experience creating robust commercial cases for new products
• Understanding of UX design and implementation and associated performance metrics
• Experience of mortgage, auto finance or decisioning platforms is desirable
• Data skills
• Resource planning and experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
