About the role

The Pricing Director is a dedicated member of Experian North America's Renewals Team, responsible for serving as the team's primary pricing resource across our largest and most strategic renewals. You will work in close collaboration with Sales and the broader renewals team to establish clear pricing practices, guidelines, and ensures consistency across renewal engagements. The Pricing Director brings prior experience from prior strategic pricing roles, applying expertise to enable data-informed, margin-conscious renewal strategies. You will report to the VP, Renewals.

Main responsibilities

  • Accountable to establish and govern renewal pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with broader FSD objectives, profitability targets, customer retention and growth goals.
  • Establish pricing frameworks and governance models that enable scalable, consistent, and compliant pricing practices.
  • Lead development of advanced pricing analytics and insights, leveraging historical data, market trends, and predictive modeling to inform strategic decisions for top-tier accounts.
  • Contribute detailed scenario planning and comparative pricing responses during renewal planning
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between Sales, Finance, Product, and Customer Success to integrate renewal pricing into broader go-to-market and growth strategies.
  • Champion continuous improvement in pricing processes, tools, and methodologies to support scalability and innovation.

Experience and Skills

What we are looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in Strategic Pricing or Commercial Strategy, with a proven track record of leading pricing initiatives for large enterprise accounts and complex transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing at the executive level.
  • Track record of creating data-driven pricing strategies, including advanced analytics, scenario modeling, and trend forecasting.
  • Experience with designing and implementing pricing governance frameworks that balance profitability, and customer retention.
  • Creative thinker – able to identify and articulate new ideas and approaches, within a constraint-based environment
  • Translate strategic objectives into operational pricing models and scalable processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in pricing tools and analytics platforms; MS Excel expert-level skills required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
