Role Overview:

The Junior Information Security Analyst will support the ECS Information Security team in maintaining documentation, improving reporting accuracy, and aligning ECS's security practices with Experian's global frameworks. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to grow within a dynamic, compliance- environment and contribute to the protection of consumer data and critical business operations.

You'll work closely with internal teams and the Experian Global Security Office (EGSO) to ensure ECS's security posture meets ISO 27001:2022 standards and other regulatory requirements.

Important Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update security documentation repositories (e.g., Confluence)
  • Enter, review, and maintain records across multiple tools to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Assist in coordination with EGSO to align with strategic security goals
  • Support risk assessments, audit preparations, and compliance activities
  • Participate in team meetings, track security-related tasks, and follow up on action items
  • Continuously learn and apply security best practices to improve processes

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in information security, IT operations, or a technical discipline
  • Experience with security principles and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
  • Familiarity with documentation tools like Confluence and Jira
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a desire to grow in a global enterprise
