We would love you to join us at Experian in helping us to shape the future of employer services for Human Resources compliance and outsourcing. We are looking for an I-9 Completion Analyst to support our I-9 clients and ensure accuracy in completion of I-9s and E-Verify submissions. You'll help shape a new business at Experian and help to guide market reach of our products in this space.

We are looking for a knowledgeable I-9 Processor to join our team. You will ensure compliance with Form I-9 documentation procedures. Your role will involve direct interaction with client employees through video calls to verify I-9 documentation and complete the Form I-9. The I-9 Processor will also guide clients through the I-9 process, review forms for accuracy, and help resolve any discrepancies related to I-9 and E-Verify. Additionally, the I-9 Processor will respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

As the ideal candidate, you will work across functional units to ensure success. You will also manage a variety of tasks within a collaborative team environment, while keeping tasks prioritized. The ability to raise issues before they turn into problems is critical. You also bring creative and strategic solutions to the table to help resolve issues. You are comfortable with web conferencing technology and working with individuals of diverse backgrounds. You will report to Experian's Director - I-9 Delivery Operations.

What you'll do

  • Work with client employees through web conference technology to ensure their Form I-9 is accurate
  • Verify employment eligibility documents for legitimacy
  • Enter document information into Form I-9 Section 2
  • Upload documents into the Experian I-9 systems
  • Be an expert in Form I-9/E-Verify
  • Communicate with clients and their employees when additional information is needed to facilitate accurate Form I-9 and E-Verify completion
  • Demonstrate expertise in Form I-9 documentation policies
  • Conduct video calls with client employees to verify I-9 documentation and complete Form I-9.
  • Provide guidance to clients on the I-9 process and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Review completed Form I-9 for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with client employees to resolve I-9 and E-Verify discrepancies.
  • Help answer client inquiries and provide accurate information.

Experience and Skills

  • High school degree; or two years of customer service-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior HR or I-9 experience
  • Experience prioritizing multiple work items
  • Experience analyzing documents, resolving issues and making decisions
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues
  • Experience with data entry
  • Experience with Microsoft tools: Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience dealing with dated materials and strict time limits
