As the Head of Data Intelligence and Batch Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s data-driven strategies. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and deliver advanced data solutions, scalable automation processes, and innovative products. This role is ideal for a visionary leader with a deep understanding of data and a passion for driving data operations.

Key Responsibilities

Data intelligence

  • Define and lead the full cycle of data quality, management, governance, and tools development
  • Manage change management as data needs to evolve
  • Develop relationships across the organization and serve as a data SME
  • Manage data delivery operations for portfolio services
  • Consult clients on use of bureau data and manage huge volumes of data
  • Collaborate with data owners to facilitate data consumption
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured data
  • Deliver insights based on data and recommend improvements based on outcomes
  • Identify data enrichment gaps and augment with data
  • Manage the team of data analysts to Identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends in data sets
  • Establish data quality metrics, detection/correction of data quality issues
  • Oversee the creation of intelligent automation workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop strategic initiatives and present best practices and key industry trends, including developing and deliveringnew and unique approaches to automation and digital.
  • Responsibility for the optimization, standardization and upgrade automation technology and process control.
  • Ensuring availability and a target-oriented flow of systems and processes.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking strategy for data intelligence, automation, and product engineering.
  • Align team objectives with the company’s overall goals to deliver measurable value to stakeholders.

Team Management

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers, and automation specialists.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive results.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate and implement best-in-class tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Experience and Skills

Required experience

  • 12-15 Years + experience in data intelligence, automation, and/or product engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies.
  • Hands on experience in cloud technologies
  • Strong understanding of automation tools such as RPA, workflow management systems, and scripting languages.
  • Experience in product development and lifecycle management, particularly for data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Expert knowledge of a broad range of analytical methodologies and their use in solving business problems
  • Proven ability to shape and define large, complex solutions to meet client requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extensive experience of using these to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Broad knowledge of the Experian products and service suite.
  • Strong presentational skills with the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders and large groups
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen Extensive consulting experience in the analytics space

  • Stakeholder management at a very senior level (CXO & Market Managing Director level)
  • Exec level communication skills with ability to make the complex simple in front of senior audiences
  • Creates a brand for the product portfolio through personal presence and leadership
  • Customer engagement skills to consult customers and deliver solutions
  • Empathetic collaboration with a diverse set of senior leaders from different geographies
  • Ability to facilitate and bring communities of interest together to achieve greater outcomes
  • A broad and deep knowledge and understanding of how credit bureau scores and attributes work
  • Hold industry certifications, accreditations or specialisations and willingness to maintain and broaden them
