Senior Data Engineer

What you will do:

  • Design and manage daily ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena and orchestration tools.
  • Troubleshoot ETL failures caused by data anomalies, job errors, or source changes by analyzing logs, scripts, and staging tables.
  • Perform data quality checks by comparing volumes across systems and validating business logic.
  • Support data governance and documentation.
  • Improve DWH infrastructure.
  • Use DevOps and version control best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, business) to resolve escalated issues and ensure agreement on data solutions.
  • Help evolve the technical architecture to support real-time analytics, automation, and scalability.

You will report into the Data Modeller Manager.

Experience and Skills

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles with demonstrated impact on results.
  • Fluent English
  • Expertise in building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL and cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS Redshift, Glue)
  • Experience with data warehousing and performance optimization.
  • Prior experience supporting BI/analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI
  • Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
