The role of the Finance Manager is to lead a regional team of finance professionals in Global Finance Services (GFS) Sofia.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will provide the regions with support across management and general accounting, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and conversion of data into management information. GFS exists to establish and sustain relationships with the Finance community and other parts of the regional business.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing Finance Team.
  • Manage daily operations, including month/year-end close, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Ensure financial accounting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
  • Oversee P&L and balance sheet accuracy, audits, tax compliance, and IFRS/local GAAP reporting.
  • Be a primary stakeholder contact and provide commercial insights to FP&A and business partners.
  • Drive centralisation, standardisation, and optimisation of finance processes.
  • Champion Digital Finance initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage financial risks and opportunities.

Experience and Skills

What you'll bring:

  • Strong level of general financial accounting and commercial experience gained in an international or global business environment
  • 6+ years of professional experience post ACCA/CIMA or Finance/Business Masters Degree and desirable at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role (leading people and processes)
  • Experience building diverse teams in a finance department
  • Excellent English, spoken and written
  • Experience working in a CoE or SSC
