Engineering Manager -Java

We are looking for someone to lead our product development team. You must be a self-starter and not be afraid to roll-up their sleeves as a player-coach. You have customer support application experience and communicate across all levels of the organization. You will be part of the CIS technology team and report to the Senior Director of Product Development.

• Oversee and provide technical direction to software engineering team(s), recruit and retains experienced engineers, grows resource allocation plans
• Deliver complex products involving both file extracts, batch interactions and interactive technologies
• Apply expert knowledge of applicable software development tools and application hosting platforms
• Apply expertise in software system design: scalability, reliability, extensibility, usability
• Distill complex ideas into understandable communication for a wide audience
• Manage relationships with strategic partners/clients for product releases and system issues
• Coordinate engagement of software engineering teams in production support within their application domain
• Partner with scrum masters to develop and manage software delivery plans
• Partner with Product Management to develop technology and product roadmaps
• Provide guidance for best practice in security for software development
• Coordinate activities and prepares artifacts for internal and external auditors/customers
• Define guardrails in development to uphold regulatory compliance
• Promotes agile practices across teams, reduce delivery time and improve quality of work

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required.
• Masters strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of total experience and 3+ years' experience in direct team management Knowledge of a broad range of both commercial and opensource solutions - Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, python, CICD, RxJava, JS
• Experience with modern technology stack in Cloud, API, Microservices
• Experience with AWS in a development role is preferred Agile/Scrum Expertise required
• Established record of strong technical leadership in a technology company.
• And an understanding of technology
• Experience preparing materials and presenting to wider audiences, translating technologies into products
• Experience in developing teams to deliver and demonstrated engineering excellence
• You are required to WFO 2 days a week (Hybrid work mode) as Hyderabad being your job workplace
