Reports to: Data Management Manager

 

As a team member within the Data Management department, you will support all data loading processes. We ask that you have a proficient understanding of data loading principles and best practices, adherence to established processes, and a focus on developing advanced data loading skills.

Consumer Data Analysts will ensure compliance with Metro 2 guidelines and uphold the integrity of data reporting. You will follow established procedures and collaborate with team members to support technical development and shared knowledge.

Commercial Data Analysts will promote custom programming capabilities, ensure adherence to CPEG data formatting standards, and support flexible, accurate data processing. Additionally, Commercial Data Analysts working on Data Amendments will help support on-file data corrections, contributing to the quality and reliability of submitted data.

 

Important Responsibilities

  • Support data loading processes within the Data Management team, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout all processes
  • Troubleshoot data loading errors and inconsistencies while following established processes and assist with operational escalations.
  • Engage with data furnishers, both in writing and verbally, to validate submitted data, and field support calls and emails from data furnishers and internal personnel
  • Participate in scrum meetings to review escalations, worst cases, and blockers, and escalate appropriate issues to senior team members while overseeing the issue resolution
  • Research reporting history before and during all work related to data furnishers
  • Enroll in and complete assigned training relevant to the role's responsibilities and provide input in weekly change reviews to identify areas requiring processing or procedural enhancements
  • Identify methods to improve efficiency in data loading, reporting quality, and data integrity
  • Identify, analyze trends and patterns in complex data sets
  • Provide input in areas that require processing enhancements

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or related field or equivalent experience (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in client support Financial industry knowledge
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database technology Process management and project tracking skills
  • Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
  • Experience with data analysis tools and report development (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Alteryx) (Word, Excel (can perform complex functions) , PowerPoint)
