As the Platform and Digital Business Intelligence Manager, you will lead the development, integration, and distribution of dashboards, data models, and analytics across the Ascend Platform. You will transform our needs into insightful, accurate Power BI visualizations that help guide decision-making, client enablement, onboarding optimization, and performance metrics (KPIs).This role demands technical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work cross functionally with global teams and stakeholders. You will be reporting to a Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports to address evolving business requirements across the Ascend Platform.
  • Create and manage dataflows, models, and pipelines, ensuring high data integrity and

performance.

  • Integrate data from diverse toolsets, APIs, and databases to develop cohesive, actionable report solutions.
  • Conduct analysis of published data to identify discrepancies, derive insights, and validate findings.
  • Standardize and improve report visuals, filters, themes, and templates to drive consistency and usability across the business.
  • Build and monitor reporting related to platform user journeys, portal usage metrics, and onboarding success rates.
  • Establish scalable frameworks for measuring adoption and engagement of digital platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate insights into actions and align analytics with strategic goals.
  • Engage regularly with business leaders and technical teams to gather requirements, present dashboards, and refine KPIs.
  • Deliver clear documentation, user training materials, and usage guides to support reportconsumers.
  • Manage expectations, communicate data availability, and promote the effective use of dashboards in decision-making

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, or analytics with advanced Power BI skills (Power Query, DAX, dashboard development) and experience integrating data via direct connections, extracts, or APIs.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and multi-source reporting, with proficiency in Power Automate and advanced Excel (Power Query, pivot analysis)
  • Experience with analyzing user journeys and engagement metrics, with a strong visual design experience focused on clarity, actionability, and accessibility.
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS platforms, cloud data/reporting environments, agile tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!), and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
