Job description

We are looking for an experienced Staff DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation III to join our team. You will have 5+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms. You will help lead DevOps projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems while also contributing to innovation through new technologies like AI and automation. You are a cloud-experience engineer with deep experience in CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and infrastructure as code. You'll work cross-functionally to allow smooth, reliable, and secure software development and deployment.

What You'll Do:

  • you will lead the design and implementation of modern CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Build and manage scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • you will Increase cloud environments (Azure, AWS) for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to streamline workflows and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Mentor and support junior DevOps engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
  • Design and support Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS).
  • Manage infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform, PowerShell, CloudFormation).
  • Optimize cloud resources for cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve workflows and resolve issues.
  • Monitor system performance for uptime and scalability.
  • Automate tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct hardware/software audits for compliance.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for infrastructure and site operations.
  • DevOps Engineering Experience:
    • Implemented scalable, secure cloud solutions.
    • Proficient in Terraform, PowerShell, and scripting for automation.
    • Expertise in Azure and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
    • Implemented microservices architecture.
    • And complex systems troubleshooting.
    • Led programs and mentored junior team members.
    Technical Requirements:
    • Expertise in Cloud Engineering and Administration (Azure primary, AWS secondary).
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows stack (Server 2019/2022).
    • Strong experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SFTP).
    • Extensive experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, Azure Entra ID.
    • Hands-on network administration, backup, and storage solutions in Cloud environments.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Clustering.
    • Experience with monitoring, patching, and endpoint security in enterprise environments.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with APIM gateways, Ansible, and other cloud native services.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk.
  • Solid foundation in network administration and cloud security best practices.
  • Terraform, Ansible, Powershell, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Native tech
