Senior Software Engineer - Test

  • Evaluate application requirements and design documents, and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Systems Engineers, and Architects to contribute to the overall testing strategy.
  • Create, review, schedule, and build both manual and automated functional tests for assigned products.
  • Report, investigate, validate, assign, and track complex defects while maintaining high quality.
  • Create, maintain, and update documentation related to quality assurance and testing activities.
  • Track new and updated requirements and adjust test artifacts accordingly.
  • Contribute to retrospectives and defect RCA analysis.
  • You will report to a Senior Manager
  • You will have to WFO 2 days a week as its Hybrid working from Hyderabad

Experience and Skills

Bachelor of Engineering / Sciences / Masters of Computer Applications 10 years supporting DevOps concepts focused on CI/CD and pipeline management knowledge of the DevOps tool chain (CI/CD). Such as: Jenkins, Nexus OSS, Artifactory, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy, GitHub, GitLab, Chocolaty, CloudFormation, JIRA, Travis, etc.

  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
    • More than 5 years of experience in Testing/Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
    • Solid experience in testing web applications and web services.
    • Strong knowledge of UI and API automation testing.
    • Experience with version control systems (preferably Git).
    • Good command of at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar).
    • Hands-on experience with bug‑tracking systems (preferably Jira).
    • Experience with Jenkins or similar CI tools.
    • Expertise in building and working with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, BDD frameworks, Vitest, JUnit/TestNG, Applitools).
    • Experience with Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
