Senior Partner Manager (m/f/d)

As a Senior Partner Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Ideal Partner Profile (IPP), identify suitable partners across industries and geographies, and defining relevant target groups such as data resellers, software resellers, and referral partners. You will establish selection criteria and a scoring model, oversee onboarding processes, and collaborate with Marketing to build targeted recruitment campaigns by digital channels. Clear ramp-up goals, regular feedback loops, and close understanding of industry sales teams will ensure long-term success. You will report to the Commercial Director in DACH.

Main responsibilities:

Develop the Ideal Partner Profile (IPP):

  • Design and implement partner programs, including the definition of target profiles, qualification criteria, and value propositions.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to evaluate potential partners.
  • Define target groups: data resellers, software resellers, and referral partners.

Partner Recruitment Strategy (in collaboration with Marketing):

  • Establish selection criteria including market presence, technological expertise, sales capacity, reputation, and strategic fit.
  • Develop a scoring model to assess potential partners.
  • Define onboarding and development stages.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create targeted campaigns for partner acquisition.
  • Use digital channels, events, and referral programs to engage potential partners.
  • Experience using a CRM software system.

Onboarding & Ramp-Up:

  • Define ramp-up goals and KPIs for the first 6–12 months.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions to ensure partner success.
  • Provide partners with a comprehensive handbook and access to relevant tools.

Experience and Skills

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience building partner ecosystems, with data and software resellers and referral partners.
  • Expertise in developing and optimizing partner programs and incentive structures.
  • Design and manage pricing frameworks and margin models, with a understanding of compliance requirements (especially for data resellers).
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects with all partners.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the B2B sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools.
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects in both German and English.
