2.   Role Purpose:

 

Responsible for supporting the Fusion Middleware suite of applications which make up the Imaging System on a day-to-day basis.  Provide knowledge in Fusion Middleware in support of projects and enhancements for Imaging.

 

3.  Major Job Functions:

 

a)     Functional Responsibilities

·       Respond to Fusion Middleware-related incidents and problems affecting delivery of services.

·       Design, Implement, Deploy and support custom functionalities for Oracle Webcenter Imaging and Fusion Middleware apps.

·       Perform scheduled activities such as upgrades and patches in liaison with other teams.

·       Configuring and customising Fusion Middleware 12c applications, including: OHS, Webcenter Imaging, Oracle Enterprise Capture, SOA Suite.

·       Provide Fusion Middleware SME input to projects and initiatives – both at a design level (including production of HLDs and LLDs) and at an operational level.

·       Mentor and cross-train less experienced team members.

·       Being part of the on-call rota.

 

b)    Internal Relationship Management

·       Interact daily with end users and managers in all global regions.

·       Develop and maintain effective working relationships with EITS/GCSS colleagues around the world.

·       Develop and maintain effective working with relationships with other members of the Global Imaging support team

 

c)    External Relationship Management

·       Liaise with third party software/support suppliers such as, but not limited to Oracle.

·       Interact with suppliers such as Swiss Post and RR Donnelly which process documents for Experian.

·       Create/manage Service Requests.

 

 

d)    Application of Processes, Controls, Standards and Measures

·       Maintain Experian Service Management documentation and change standards, following the prescribed software development life cycle.

·       Provide service meeting Service Level Agreements for incident, problem, and change management.

·       Adhere to information security and audit requirements.

·       Work to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of systems.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably IT-related. Must have: • Weblogic Adminstration • Fusion Middleware Adminstration • BPEL/BPM coding and troubleshooting skills • Proficient in Java and PL/SQL programming languages • Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting • Solid Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • • Team player with abilities to work in complex cross-functional and geographically diverse teams • Self-starter able to work proactively and with minimal supervision Good to have: • Advanced Windows Server Environment Knowledge • Working knowledge of Active Directory • Administration of MS SQL Server • Advaced SQL query and scripting knowledge • Visual Basic programming • ASP.NET development • Windows scripting (DOS Batch, Windows Powershell) • Strong PC skills (including Microsoft Office applications) Experience: • 10+ years of progressive IT professional experience • 6+ years experience with Fusion Middleware • Experience providing customer support • Experience in managing a small remote team (3-5 employees) • Experience of working with international teams, predominantly UK, US, CR, IN & MY.
