Head of Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

We are seeking a Head of Cloud Infrastructure & Operations to lead our global cloud and compute operations strategy. This role is pivotal in transforming distributed infrastructure services into platform delivery models, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across hybrid environments. You will lead high-performing teams, drive automation, and champion inclusive leadership practices while collaborating with global stakeholders to deliver world-class services.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and execute the operational strategy for cloud and compute infrastructure (AWS, VMware, HPE Synergy)

• Lead and develop diverse, high-performing global teams across cloud and server operations

• Champion a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and service excellence

• Drive automation, observability, and self-service capabilities to improve reliability and reduce manual effort • Establish and enforce global standards for cloud and server operations, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational policies

• Manage budgets, optimize costs, and oversee vendor relationships • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions

What We’re Looking For:

• 5-7 years of proven experience in technical leadership and building high-performing teams

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, data center operations, networking, and cybersecurity

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure design and operations, including VMware and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)

• Experience implementing SRE methodologies and leading enterprise-scale transformations

• Cloud certifications (AWS)

• Experience with VMware, HPE GreenLake, and observability engineering

• Familiarity with FinOps best practices and cost optimization strategies

• Relevant University degree/Technical specialty
