AI Coding Subject Matter Expert

Experian is seeking an AI Coding Subject Matter Expert to join the Global Assurance Technology & Innovation Team. This role will serve as a technical leader focused on designing, building, and deploying modern AI-enabled web applications and agentic solutions that accelerate innovation, improve engineering productivity, and support business transformation.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience across web application development, AI-assisted engineering, and cloud-native deployment, with strong platform capabilities in Figma, React single-page applications, AWS, AI agents and agentic workflow creation, MCP servers, and API connectivity. This individual will partner across product, engineering, design, and innovation teams to translate ideas into scalable, secure, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for AI-enabled software development, rapid prototyping, and production deployment of modern web-based applications.
• Design, build, and deploy React SPA solutions that deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-performing user experiences.
• Translate concepts and product ideas from Figma designs into functional, production-quality web applications.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, including deployment pipelines, hosting, integrations, and scalable backend services.
• Create and operationalize AI agents and agentic workflows to automate business and technology processes.
• Develop and integrate MCP servers to support extensible AI tooling, orchestration, and contextual interactions.
• Design, consume, and secure RESTful APIs, third-party services, and enterprise system integrations.
• Evaluate emerging AI coding tools, frameworks, and patterns, and recommend practical adoption strategies for Experian.
• Drive proof-of-concept development through production hardening, including testing, observability, documentation, and support transition.
• Partner with stakeholders across innovation, assurance, product, and engineering teams to identify opportunities where AI and modern application platforms can create measurable value.
• Establish technical standards and best practices for code quality, reusable components, application security, and deployment reliability.
• Mentor developers and cross-functional partners on AI-assisted development approaches, architecture patterns, and implementation best practices.
• Reporting To: Senior Director, Global Assurance Technology & Innovation Lab

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in innovation labs, rapid prototyping teams, or emerging technology environments.
• Familiarity with AI application patterns such as retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, workflow orchestration, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Experience with serverless architectures, containerized deployments, and microservices on AWS.
• Exposure to enterprise governance, risk, compliance, or assurance-related technology initiatives.
• Experience defining reusable frameworks, templates, or developer accelerators for AI-enabled application delivery.
• Knowledge of authentication and integration approaches for enterprise platforms and third-party systems.
• Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with global stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience building and deploying web-based applications in enterprise or innovation environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in React and modern front-end development for single-page applications.
• Experience working with AI driven user interface tools to interpret design systems, user flows, and UI specifications into working applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native application deployment.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AI agents and agentic workflows using modern AI frameworks and orchestration patterns.
• Experience building or integrating MCP servers and enabling tool-based AI interactions.
• Strong experience in API development and connectivity, including authentication, integration patterns, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and modern web development frameworks and tooling.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, secure coding practices, CI/CD, testing, and production deployment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
