The mortgage credit ecosystem is complex. Extensive data, technology and processes are involved in consumer home and mortgage shopping; as well as lender marketing and underwriting. Experian credit data is a key component of this ecosystem. Our database represents 220 million credit-active consumers nationwide who carry 60 million mortgages worth $17 trillion. Beyond credit data, consumers and lenders require actionable data on properties, income, assets, rent payments, title claims and more. How can businesses and consumers sort through this enormous dataset and the regulations surrounding us to optimize outcomes?

With Experian's Mortgage solutions, they can. Experian NA offers a suite of solutions to assist consumers and lenders with all aspects of the mortgage journey. We are seeking a product leader to oversee our solutions from initial homeownership engagement through mortgage originations. This role will report to our Housing Chief Product Officer

The successful candidate is first and foremost a product executive who will collaborate with cross-functional and cross-business unit teams to develop the long-term strategic plan, and drive the near-term product roadmap. At Experian, we believe product leadership is not just about what you build, but how you lead. We seek a colleague who exemplifies collaboration and elevates others while driving innovation.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Vision & Industry Leadership

  • Create a compelling vision and commitment among cross-business unit executives to modernize the mortgage ecosystem for both consumers and lenders, ensuring products align with full capabilities and drive revenue and EBIT growth.
  • Drive Experian's position and thought leadership in the industry, influencing the direction of impending changes through insightful communications.

Product Strategy & Innovation

  • Lead the strategy for a suite of credit, property, mortgage, and related data products for mortgage use cases based on a solid understanding of the consumer homeownership journey, the mortgage business, housing regulations, and market challenges.
  • Translate the long-term vision into a near-term roadmap, remaining open to diverse input, new information, and shifting priorities in service of Experian's enterprise strategy.
  • Utilize innovation methodologies to build, measure, and learn as we develop new solutions for the marketplace.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Navigate cross-functional relationships with multiple functional areas including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, and Solution Delivery; prioritizing solution-oriented dialogue over personal opinion.
  • Be a trusted advisor and strategic ally to sales and solutions groups by regularly seeking voice of sales, voice of client, and voice of reseller.
  • Own prioritization of development workstreams, proactively adjusting scope based on available resources and business priorities.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach and develop a high-performing team of product managers to operate with strong client and market focus.
