Software Engineer with Python - Marketing Services

We're looking for someone who is passionate about data analysis and software development and experienced in programming with Python and knowledge of AWS Services like API Gateway, Lambdas and DynamoDB. You will contribute to a migration from Java/MongoDB to Python/DynamoDB. After that you will get a chance to work on the latest marketing and advertising technology software and tools.

Reporting into Lead Software Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of the creation of these data products from the initial specification to the final validation and quality checks.

What you'll do:

• Develop Data Solutions - understand data structures and relationships to design and implement scalable processes for handling and transforming data.
• Work as part of an Agile team, delivering software in sprints using modern development principles and best practices.
• Ensure project delivery and quality.
• Ensure that code meets all functionality and acceptance criteria.
• Provide technical support for existing data tools and products used by our teams and clients.
• Produce clear documentation tailored to technical audiences.
• Follow and contribute to continuous improvement of change management and performance evaluation processes.
• Ensure all work aligns with regulatory requirements and support a culture of fairness and transparency for customers.
• Explore and recommend new technologies, or approaches that could enhance team capabilities and product offerings.

What you'll bring:

• 4 years of experience in software programming with Python
• Knowledge of AWS Services like API Gateway, Lambdas and DynamoDB.
• University Degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Information Technologies or relevant.
• The ability to interpret data, recognize problems as they arise, suggest and implement appropriate actions.
• Familiar with Scrum/Agile Methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
