We are looking for an experienced and experienced Senior Software Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for processing client orders, managing complex projects, ensuring data accuracy, and leading efforts to improve and transition processes. We are looking for technical skills, excellent project management abilities, and the capacity to mentor junior analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and process client orders using mainframe tools and custom code.
  • Manage complex projects involving multiple products or trade dates.
  • Ensure data accuracy and formatting meet client expectations.
  • Build complex projects and provide technical consultation to our teams and clients.
  • Propose and implement process improvements for workflows.
  • Support project planning and estimation for client requests.
  • Mentor junior analysts and ensure quality control of deliverables.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve production issues and ensure compliance with standards and client expectations.
  • Lead efforts to transition legacy processes to new platforms, ensuring quality comparability and data integrity.
  • Design validation strategies and coordinate testing.
  • Accomplish test cases, help resolve test failures, and document outcomes.
  • Recommend improvements to tools.
  • Provide feedback on system behavior differences and escalate critical issues.
  • Contribute to comprehensive documentation of procedures and lessons learned.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Technical skills in mainframe tools and coding, including EZtrieve, Syncsort, SQL and database knowledge.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
