As part of a team of experienced colleagues, this role will be responsible for the product management of our credit bureau data products. The Junior Product Manager will be fully responsible for assigned products, owning the entire lifecycle from idea generation, market assessment, and competitive analysis through project initiation, functional concept, commissioning of analytics and IT implementation, marketing material creation, go-live, performance monitoring, continuous improvement, and eventual sunsetting.

This role will serve as the central interface between Go To Market teams (Sales, Consulting), Legal, Analytics, IT, and Executive Management to ensure alignment and successful delivery of our platform and decisioning solutions.

Main responsibilities, tasks, duties:

  • Responsibility for the implementation of the product strategy for our credit bureau, including the definition of product goals, roadmaps and features
  • Work closely with stakeholders including customers, development and sales teams to understand requirements, gather feedback and ensure products meet market needs
  • Drive the full product lifecycle: Idea generation, market and competitive analysis, business case creation, project application, functional specification, commissioning analytics and IT implementation, coordinating marketing material development, go-live, success monitoring, continuous optimization, and sunsetting
  • Serve as the key liaison between Sales, Legal, Analytics, IT, and senior leadership to align product vision with business objectives and compliance requirements
  • Translate market and business needs into clear product requirements and ensure these are implemented effectively by IT teams
  • Identify new opportunities and trends to continuously improve our products and maintain competitive advantage.

Experience and Skills

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Initial experience (1-2 years) in product and project management, ideally in the field of IT and data products
  • Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey ideas, persuade stakeholders
  • Self-motivation and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
  • Strategic thinking to define long-term goals and align product development accordingly
  • Results orientation to achieve measurable success and continuously improve product performance
  • Passion for data-driven products and the ability to use data to make informed decisions and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience in financial services or risk management is a plus, but not required
