We're looking for an Instructional Designer to help us create engaging, effective learning experiences for our teams in GTM. Reporting to the Sales and Client Enablement Manager, you'll go beyond traditional eLearning development by integrating learning directly into business systems and workflows through digital adoption solutions. You'll leverage instructional design methodologies such as SAM or ADDIE, and collaborate with creative and enablement teams to ensure all learning interventions, whether standalone or embedded within platforms, are top-class, correctly branded, and aligned with business and regulatory standards.

What you'll do:

  • You will partner with subject matter experts, product owners, and enablement teams to analyse learning needs and define clear objectives.
  • Design and develop blended learning programmes and digital content using sound instructional design principles and the latest technology.
  • Create engaging eLearning modules, microlearning, simulations, and job aids tailored to different roles and learning styles.
  • Ensure all learning content meets accessibility, compliance, and regulatory standards for financial services.
  • Manage the end-to-end development process: storyboarding, authoring, editing, testing, and deployment.
  • Use feedback, learner analytics, and performance data to iterate and improve content.
  • Curate and refresh learning resources to keep our catalogue relevant, inclusive, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of learning platforms, ensuring content is easy to find, access, and complete.
  • Collaborate with other designers, facilitators, and stakeholders to share best practices and drive continuous improvement

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or digital content development, ideally within financial services or regulated environments.
  • Proven track record of designing and developing blended learning solutions (eLearning, microlearning, workshops, simulations, job aids) that drive performance.
  • Experience with authoring tools and platforms such as Articulate 360, (or equivalent) Adobe Creative Cloud, and Camtasia (or similar video editing tools).
  • Experience administering LMS and digital adoption platforms such as Whatfix or WalkMe.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, inclusive design, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work solo and collaboratively, comfortable to navigate uncertainty and changing priorities.
  • Analytical approach: comfortable using feedback, data, and A/B testing to refine content and measure impact.
  • Curious, collaborative, and commercially minded. Always looking for ways to improve outcomes for the business and our people.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to embrace AI and automation in everyday work.
