The Head of Data Strategy for EMAP is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Experian’s regional data strategy across 20+ diverse markets. Experian EMAP is an agile challenger in these markets, leveraging data to power software, AI, and technology to disrupt traditional models and become a market leader. This role will define the key data assets EMAP requires to lead the market, as well as measure the effectiveness and ROI of our current data assets.

You will partner with senior leaders across the region to define a clear, forward-looking data strategy that aligns with Experian’s global vision while addressing regional market dynamics. Your remit spans consumer credit bureaus, business information bureaus, and extends to supporting product strategy for Decisioning, Identity & Fraud, and Analytics software—making this one of the most influential roles in driving Experian’s growth and transformation in EMAP.

Experience and Skills

  • Deep understanding of the data-driven financial ecosystem and its role in enabling trust and growth.
  • At least 8 years of experience in data strategy, data management, or analytics consulting, with a proven track record of delivering transformative data initiatives.
  • Minimum 5 years shaping business strategies in financial services or credit risk solution providers, ideally with exposure to identity, fraud, and analytics products across the credit lifecycle.
  • Experience navigating regulatory environments and ensuring compliance in data governance and privacy.
  • Proven ability to operate across multiple markets and cultures, driving consistency while adapting to local needs.
