GTM Sales Support Specialist

We are looking for Sales Support Specialists to join our Vertical Sales Support Team in GTM. This team is embedded within our Vertical Sales teams, whilst being part of a wider team of Sales Support Specialists.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will provide tailored, client-facing operational support, designed to help our sales teams to focus on what they are good at – solving client problems with Experian platforms, technology and data.

Your role will go beyond sales support. You will identify inefficiencies and recurring challenges, promote improvements and help fix problems on your own and with colleagues across teams.

Responsibilities (this may vary depending on which team you support):

  • Client-Facing Support - You will be a trusted contact for client queries, ensuring professional responses.Support onboarding, delivery and migration activities to deliver a smooth client experience. Build relationships that enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Support - Help prepare accurate quotes, contracts, and client-facing presentations using tools like CPQ and CLM.Identify skill, knowledge and capability gaps across sales teams. Be the contact for insight into challenges or improvements that could benefit the sales team and sales processes.
  • Communication & Collaboration - Guide communication between vertical sales and central functions (marketing, product, customer support). Ensure client needs are aligned with internal delivery teams, tracking resolutions and participate in client meetings, follow-up on action items..
  • Sales Process Enablement - Monitor and report on sales performance KPIs, providing relevant insights. Contribute to the development of vertical-specific account plans.

Experience and Skills

  • Sales awareness - Experience working with or alongside sales teams, with an understanding of the responsibilities, pressures, and workflows of roles such as Account Managers, Business Development, and Sales Specialists.
  • Proficient in platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Tailor communication style to audience both internally and externally
  • Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experienced in managing expectations and prioritising
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Interpret sales data and provide insights.
