Global Process Revenue Recognition System - (Open for Graduates)

Role summary:

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity within the Group Billing and Revenue Assurance Team in Group Finance. As a Global Process SME, you will actively contribute to global finance projects and BAU support for our revenue recognition system RDE, especially focusing on billing and revenue processes. While you may not have prior work experience, this role offers an excellent chance to develop your skills in a supportive environment and gain exposure to key finance projects.  You will work closely with senior team members to support the delivery of the group’s strategy and objectives by assisting in various billing and revenue projects. Training and guidance will be provided to help you understand how to document use cases, gather business requirements, and support process improvements.

 

 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work with your line manager to prioritize project objectives and billing strategies.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements and processes.
  • Learn how to translate business needs into solutions by supporting system documentation, business cases, and strategy papers.
  • Support regional teams in their billing-related projects, ensuring they align with the global billing strategy.
  • Collaborate with experienced team members and external partners to develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for operational teams and help ensure a smooth handover of projects.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by learning to identify and propose process enhancements.
  • Billing related troubleshooting and support, partner with 3rd-party consultants, CoE, Project Partners and GCS resources to address issues and requests
  • Review and/or prepare and submit formal change requests via the PET Log process and Service Now, presenting and explaining such change requests to project Change Review Boards or other governance bodies as needed.
  • Proactively monitor and report on RDE standards adoption metrics and support group and regional teams on remediation for areas of noncompliance. Continuously enrich and enhance the metrics for better insight.

Experience and Skills

More About You:

  • You recently graduated or are about to graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • You are eager to learn about billing processes, revenue recognition, and finance operations.
  • You are detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and enjoy solving problems.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well in teams.
  • You are motivated, enthusiastic, and open to learning new tools, processes, and systems.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred, and you are willing to learn more about business systems and project management.
