Global Customer Data Maintenance Team Lead

Role Summary:

As a Customer Data Maintenance Team Lead, you will liaise with different finance teams to ensure that correct billing information and legal entity is held for invoicing purposes, managing customer information by applying standardization, setting up and maintaining data and detecting inconsistencies, keeping duplicate accounts to a minimum, highlighting any missing information, and assisting with further actions. It will be your responsibility to handle inbound enquiries and assign to the relevant team members where necessary, ensuring that the correct procedure is followed at all stages and in a timely manner.

You will set, agree, and monitor Service Level Agreements with the finance teams and key contacts, coaching and managing a team of 8 analysts to comply with performance targets. You will help co-ordinate training, testing and changes, you will consistently check the existing processes to suggest and implement improvements where necessary and will manage any assigned internal and strategic projects. You will also be responsible for:

  • Develop and empower talent through coaching, performance reviews, and career development planning.
  • Drive operational excellence by managing team performance, optimizing processes, and ensuring data quality.
  • Foster collaboration and stakeholder engagement across functions to align goals and deliver business value.
  • Champion change and innovation, supporting adoption of new tools and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Producing the monthly internal KPIs and Operational metrics.
  • Performing auditing, cleansing, enrichment, and deduplication activities as per the established processes.
  • Documenting and formalizing data standards and processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Utilizing data management tools to assist in any assigned internal projects, data migrations and integrations, orienting and proposing solutions to problems.
  • Working with the business to define requirements and create processes to meet their needs participating in actions from clarifying the need, brainstorming solutions to implementation.

Experience and Skills

More About You:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years+ working experience in data related field Previous experience in O2C processes and/or knowledge of Oracle EBS Accounts Receivable module is a plus
  • Comfortable in working virtually full time and experience in leading a small team teams locally and globally and support stakeholders in different time zones (APAC/EMEA Hrs. & US Hrs.)
  • Experience in leading a small team, dealing with month-end close issues, escalations and work under pressure is a plus. 
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to research and resolve complex data problems.
  • Highly proficient communication skills and efficiently communicates in English written and spoken.
