Financial Reporting Assurance Accountant

Join our Group Financial Reporting team, the gatekeepers of finance across the Group. Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, you will help ensure accurate, compliant, and insightful financial reporting that supports decision-making at the highest level.

Why this role?

You will provide a second line of defence over the Group's most complex and high-risk financial reporting areas, gaining exposure to acquisitions, new accounting standards, tax, treasury, and more. This is an opportunity to influence financial reporting across a global organisation while developing deep technical expertise.

What you will do

  • Review accounting for acquisitions and complex transactions
  • Provide technical guidance to regional finance teams
  • Support external reporting processes and audit relationships
  • Help with monthly reporting and risk assurance
  • Contribute to projects improving controls and automation

Experience and Skills

What we're looking for

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with PQE experience
  • Technical accounting knowledge
  • Experience of audit and statutory processes
  • Ability to apply professional scepticism and build networks
  • Audit background or experience in complex financial reporting
  • Advanced level skills in Excel
