Finance Transformation Manager

Summary

You will lead the Order-to-Cash (OTC) and revenue transformation portfolio. This portfolio involves leading end-to-end process redesign and implementation across quote/order, billing, revenue recognition, collections, cash application, and dispute management. Accountable for current-state/future-state design, operating model definition, benefits tracking, and continuous improvement assets. You will report to the Senior Finance Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transformation Roadmap & Governance: Define and manage the OTC and revenue transformation roadmap, including initiative sequencing, business case sizing, and program governance.
  • M&A Integrations / Acquisitions (OTC & Accounting Revenue): Own OTC and Accounting Revenue workstreams for acquisitions and integrations, integration planning, migration/cutover execution, and synergy/value tracking.
  • Current/Future State & Operating Model: Lead current-state assessments, future-state design, gap analysis, and operating model definition for OTC and revenue processes; produce standardized process maps and control points.
  • Process Reengineering & Implementation: Deliver reengineered processes and operational rollout to improve billing accuracy, reduce revenue leakage, shorten dispute cycle times.
  • Systems Enablement: Drive technology-enabled transformation across ERP/CRM, billing, revenue automation; own requirements, solution validation, test strategy support, and deployment readiness.
  • People Leadership (Business Analysts): Manage direct reports (including Business Analysts); own capacity planning, work allocation, delivery standards, and performance outcomes for the transformation portfolio.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of finance transformation / process improvement experience with OTC, Finance, Accounting Revenue scope (billing, revenue recognition), including 2+ years of people management with direct reports.
  • Experience overseeing OTC and revenue workstreams for M&A integrations and acquisitions, including transition planning, process harmonization, ERP/CRM integration impacts, and benefits realization.
  • Demonstrated delivery of process reengineering using Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement methods; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM platforms supporting OTC (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite; Salesforce) and downstream billing/revenue/collections tooling.
  • Working knowledge of revenue recognition frameworks (ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15) and impacts to billing, deferred revenue, and revenue assurance controls.
