Engineering Manager

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full‑stack engineers, enabling ownership, and collaboration.
  • Contribute hands‑on to the design and development of scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular/React.
  • Architect and optimize distributed systems on AWS, leveraging services such as EKS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, Lambda.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of features, ensuring code quality, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Guide engineers in writing clean, maintainable, testable code across the full stack.
  • Drive engineering best practices across CI/CD, DevOps, code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to define roadmaps, break down requirements, and drive sprint execution.
  • Conduct architectural reviews, contribute to technical design, and make trade‑off decisions aligned with business goals.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis efforts, resolve complex production issues, and proactively improve system reliability.
  • Build and maintain a strong engineering culture emphasizing learning, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and platform improvement to increase team velocity and system robustness.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, ensure alignment with leadership, and provide clear status on risks, timelines, and delivery.
  • You will report to Director of Engineering
  • You will have to WFO 2 days a week as its Hybrid working from Hyderabad

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • We require you to have 10–15 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands‑on full‑stack development.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • 3–5 or more years of experience with Angular or React in production environments.
  • Proven experience deploying and operating cloud‑native systems on AWS, including EKS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS/SNS.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
  • Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and distributed system patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) and modern frontend tooling.
  • Experience leading engineering teams, conducting performance reviews, and driving talent growth.
