Experian is looking for a Data Scientist to join our Marketplace Decision Optimization team. You will be part of a large, revenue-driving team that operates on an entirely cloud-based analytical platform. You will work with other data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decision-making processes. You will be responsible for data collection, cleaning, and analysis, and developing machine learning models. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a analytical background with data science to develop their skills in a supportive and environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with both internal and external data science teams to integrate and build models that the needs.
  • Extract, create and manipulate data using Python and SQL within Snowpark container services.
  • Learn and understand the structure of our Snowflake database and its relationship to our product environment.
  • Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for individual projects.
  • Innovate and contribute new ideas to improve business processes.

Experience and Skills

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited college or university. Advanced Degree as an ideal.
  • 2+ years of experience in statistical analysis and modeling especially with consumer credit underwriting, customer segmentation, and customer valuations.
