Role Overview

We are hiring an offshore Bid Manager role in Kuala Lumpur, supporting Australia and New Zealand and reporting to the Director of GTM Operations.

 

Role Overview

The Bid Manager manages end-to-end RFx and tender processes for qualified opportunities. You will ensure submissions are compliant, compelling, commercially, and executed. It also drives continuous improvement in bid practices, content reuse, and win rates through structured processes and AI-enabled tools.

 

Key Responsibilities

Bid Management & Coordination

  • Lead and coordinate the full bid lifecycle across teams (Sales, Pre-Sales, Consultancy, Pricing, Legal, and Commercial).
  • Ensure all submissions align with brand, governance, and commercial standards.
  • Implement best practices to improve bid quality, efficiency, and outcomes.

AI & Content Optimisation

  • Champion the use of internal AI tools to enhance response quality and turnaround time.
  • Curate and maintain a reusable content library, including standard responses, case studies, and product narratives.
  • Support team members in applying AI responsibly, ensuring human oversight and commercial judgment.
  • Enhance templates, workflows, and governance frameworks.

Bid Tracking and Insights

  • Maintain visibility of bid pipelines, including status, value, probability, and timelines.
  • Deliver reporting on bid performance, win/loss trends, and cycle times.
  • Provide forecasting insights and contribute to post-bid reviews to improve.

Experience and Skills

What You'll Bring

Experience & Capability

  • Experience bid management, proposal management, or tender coordination, in B2B, data, technology, SaaS, or similar environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with complex, multi‑stakeholder RFx processes and governance.
  • Experience supporting Australian or New Zealand enterprise customers
  • Exposure to pricing, commercial terms, and contract structures within bids.
  • 3+ years of experience using content libraries or AI‑enabled bid tools (or appetite to lead adoption).

Qualifications

  • The ability to translate technical and commercial detail into clear responses.
